Wasn’t terrible. They made shots and we didn’t. We took the lead and didn’t capitalize but it wasn’t terrible. Stop with the hyperbole

No excuse for the bad play, but once again Wagler gets mugged every time he attacks the lane and never gets a call. What does it take for him to get similar treatment as other stars get?

I think T is actually holding up fine one on one defensively with Reed. He's hit some real tough shots but it's the the open 3s that are killing us.

Need to roll with Boswell, Stojakovic, and Wagler. Davis simply can't chase guys around the screens.

Offensively, we just stagnated after getting to 22. Need to keep attacking the basket and get the ball moving.

Love the kid but Kylan 5 of his last 24 and a vast majority are within 4 feet of the basket. Just never calibrated with that hand, which HAS to be hampering him. Can’t win with that in your backcourt.

Yup we couldnt shoot, let them get wide open shots early, missed free throws and took bad shots.

The end of the half may come back to haunt us. Uconn couldnt score and we didnt gain any lead after it was 22-21 then let them go on a big run.

Didn't play well, didn't shoot well, and down 8. We need more Andrej, more getting it inside, and less setting 8 screens for Wagler every possession... just felt stagnant for a while there on offense.

We had to many rim out shots that half. Meanwhile Mullins banks one in. So far Illini have been beat by two guys.

They kept talking about the lack of assists for Illinois. Well, when shots don't fall off some of these great looks, of course the number of assists are low.

Illini will need a good shooting 2nd half, but those have been few and far between the last month or so.
