Usc is a good blocking team.
We have to get their QB off balance. I wish we had another pass rusher that could have a little modicum of competence getting off blocks opposite of Gabe.

We just aren’t able to apply any pressure at all. They have all day to make decisions back there. No one can get off their blocks.

I think USC realized we can’t stop the passing game.

It's there because we can't stop the running game. That sets everything up. The linebackers need to come up for run support, which opens things up for screens, play action....the middle of the field is going to be wide open.

This one could become a shootout, with our D giving up chunk play yardage. Tackling angles and wrap-ups continue to be an issue. Sure hope our offense has a banner day, and we also make the right adjustments defensively to slow down an explosive USC attack. This is a winnable game, and would put our season back on track. Go Illini!
