That's it. The most complete, smartest, best half of football in all three facets that I've seen in ... I honestly can't say. Many years. Playcalling, execution, discipline, we even managed the clock beautifully to get three points at the buzzer. Just ... wow

Today Illinois is doing something that it hasn't done in a long time.

We're passing the eye test. Executing. Exploiting mistakes.

It's not perfect football today but the best we've produced in I don't know how long.

Alright come on, MJ has the team up 13-7 in his first career start and playing the best football that we have seen in the Lovie era.... and you are going with this take? Just appreciate the growth of the true freshman who has displayed great moxy and made a few plays.

We're moving the ball on the ground. I would be glad to see MJ run the ball, but it doesn't look like he can. If Robinson can, I'd like to see it.

The But Monkeys are going to come up with a lot of if-it-weren’t-fors but the things that USF has done to shoot themselves in the feet are what we have done to ourselves in the past. And going into the half with last second—OK, last two second—points to put the game into a two score game...

I know it’s not over yet but it’s so much better to be able to talk about “extending the lead” than “coming from behind.”

Punting, field goals and just as important those touchbacks on kickoffs.
