Consolidation of UT-Pan American and UT-Brownsville back in 2012. The latter was an NAIA school. RGV inherited the UTPA athletics program.

Seem to be thinking a bit too much out there, trying to run sets/play defense a certain way and it's stopping them from using the raw talent and athleticism advantage that we have.

I feel if we just drove on guys more and stopped thinking about “what is the exact right thing to do” we might have more success. We aren’t playing loose becuase we are terrified of turning it over, which is causing us to turn it over more

As much as I hate playing it this close and not having our starters in, the silver lining is that our new guys are getting a lot of experience. And experience with games down to the wire, which will be most big ten games this season
