Wagler still has a 2nd half to play. Give the kid a break. For all he's done all season, cut him some slack. He has done this before where he has a rough first half and goes off in the 2nd half
No, AS keep driving until they stop you and that's just about ALL we need to win because I don't think they can stop him consistently

Took one of their runs…and came back. If we don’t turn the ball over and keep playing defense and rebounding, I think we pull away and make it a 10- to 12- point win. But I’d settle for a 1-point win (if I live through that).

Well the VCU folk freak out at any basket made, even when down, I like where we are, take it to them and we win this one easily

I think you are right. VCU is all over him when he goes to the lane. Someone is left free to take the ball to the basket. Any thoughts on who that "someone" is?
We made it through the 6 minutes without Mirk. I thought the 7 that rotated played great.

What I cannot stand as an official myself is when officials intentionally officiate a game to keep the foul count somewhat even. Illinois doesn’t foul much. Don’t penalize them by allowing VCU to assault our guys. If they are fouling, call the fouls.
Officiating can be pretty easy. See a foul, call a foul. Don’t try to manipulate foul counts.

But a lot of it is the turnovers... must clean that up
