Those offensive boards converted to and-ones are killing us
No question...and the result of two guys going for a block in a couple of case and one leaving their man for the rebound. I am in favor of staying with your man within 8 ft. of the rim as leaving him makes the block a must.

I smell the "soft press" coming in the second half. Hopefully they will keeping missing open threes due to tired legs.
Considering Baylor's press was super effective against them, I hope we pull it out for a bit, too. UVA is way too good of a shooting team. I'd really like to extend this lead.

Super entertaining basektball.

So I'm happy.

That is what I'm here for, after all.

Hope to see us hit that next gear out of the half. Really get up in their grill for 94 feet and run on every possession for about the first 5 minutes and see if UVA can withstand the punch.

I am ambivalent to pressing. Teams that can pass and handle like Va. generally love to see a press. If you scout and prepare, it too often leads to easy buckets. But then, we won't know that answer unless........................

Hoping our superior conditioning by Fletch and deep bench will wear down the Cavs in the second half and allow the Illini to pull away. And get our bigs some buckets too. Go Illini!

It's crazy that we've seen 3 of 4 halves of this big time show-us-what-you've-got tournament, and yet depending on the next half and then the 3rd place game, we could be like 5th or 25th tomorrow.

A lesson in not overreacting in November, I guess.

Anyone know, are their regulars playing more minutes than ours? How deep do they go on the bench.
Not really - 2 guys have 17 minutes, one 15. For us, TSJ has 19, others 13 or 14. They go 8 deep, but 6 with big minutes usually.

We won't drop in the polls if we lose this.
Agreed. We’re top 15 tomorrow regardless of the outcome of this game at this point.

If we get blown out and UCLA gets outclassed again we might.
