Got good shots. Played good defense for about 3/4 of the half. Make your free throws, get some offensive rebounds.. win by 20+. Anyone worried or talking ish on Andrej should turn in their fandom card.

just enjoy this season - we played a bad half, missed a bunch of FTs, and were up 7 with the ball….be mad all you want; last year we’re down 11 at the half in this one.
Id guess they hit it pretty hard after that win. I mean tomi was screaming "what we drinking?" afterward.

2nd half game plan: Make Washington shoot from outside.
Its pretty common knowledge we’re at the top of the Big Ten in FT %. The fact you thought a 79% shooting FT team was one of the worst teams you’ve seen in a decade says something about how you watch these games.Missed free throws have been an issue all season to me if seems. I thought this was one of the worst FT shooting illini teams in a good 10+ yrs. So I got curious and googled Big Ten team stats assuming at best they'd be middle of the pack for FT %. Nope, they're in first place!Huh? I'm completely shocked. So if you think watching this squad shoot FT's is frustrating just know that every other fanbase in the big ten is more frustrated than us lol.
Overall, the Illini are pretty much playing to the pt. spread of 13....but their overall play is sloppy with many opportunities missed. Hard to hit the performance level of Sat. for two consecutive games. I like the team defense and effort on that end, but the offense is in low gear and moving slowly. That will not change though so our guys have to hit some shots and connect on passes to open "dunkers"
