Agree. There has to be a recognition that the player has no opportunity to avoid that contact. Especially when the offensive player lowers their head at the last moment, which is exactly what happened with Watson.
I'm all for protecting the head area and if a guy takes a second and then launches I think he should be thrown out and maybe miss more. That is certainly not what happened there. Let's be honest - it's a zero tolerance rule so that when the NCAA gets sued for billions they can point to it
