I still dont understand where people are getting angry and confused from....it is THE EXACT same team that has not been doing well for several years. And they had to learn a new scheme over the break. Not surprised. I'll be angry in 4 years if they havnt made any improvements. Until then enjoy the growth of a program from the ground up and you can tell the kids 50 years from now "you think you're bad now? I grew up watching Illinois football in the black days of the 2010's "

I hope in 50 years it's more like "you guys are so spoiled with this team, you should have lived through the 2010's."

I just saw a walk-on Nebraska sophomore make a catch that I don't think we have a receiver capable of doing this. Getting one top 25 instate player and a bunch of NR-3 star recruits is on display. The new staff is going to have significantly upgrade the talent pool on the team.
