Always amusing how coaches beat themselves by getting too clever and trying to outsmart our defense when there wasn't any need. WMU almost botched the drive with the end-around throw and then failed on the sweep. Football 101 is to stick with what's working until the other team adjusts

Iowa State also struggled today vs Arkansas State, albeit on the road. This Western Michigan team only gave up 23 points to an MSU offense that scored 41 the next week. Let’s calm down

Slow first half starts are not going to cut it once B10 play starts. That's on the coaching staff to break out of that pattern. We are way past due to start imposing our will, maybe that goal line stand will be the catalyst.
