Has Lovie always played Wisky well? I feel like We’ve been a thorn in their side for the past few years.

We don’t beat them, mind you, but a thorn none-the-less.

It's the Illinois offense that is killing them.....again. Can't keep drives going, the defense is on the field all game long....now a brutal turnover.

whether we have or have not, I don't want anyone making excuses for them playing well. The defense and Lovie Smith is not our issue THIS GAME.

I don't care what anyone thinks above Lovie, he had this team, ESPECIALLY THE DEFENSE, ready to play today. They're one horrific, boneheaded play by the center away from leading in this game.
Come on. We've seen this a hundred times. You know the final score is gonna be like 45-7.

This. Wisconsin plays the style of offense that Lovie learned to coach against 30 some years ago so they are playing pretty well. The defense will go back to stinking as soon as they face any sort of RPO or spread.

Let's try to strip the ball all the way to the end zone.

He plays them better because they are more NFL like and less RPO/running QB centric. But they will still put us away soon here.

If that is the final score, it is going to be because the QB does not have the arm talent to makeup for being in a running QB scheme.

I feel like the “go for the ball during the tackle” as opposed to “simply tackle the guy” mentality is what allows RBs to carry the pile. I’ve seen it with more than just Taylor too so it’s not just the fact that he’s a good RB.

Tackling technique has been poor since Day 1 of Lovie regime. It undoubtedly is a result of what is taught.

He is still without a doubt our best player but Reggie Corbin is killing our offense today. He has got to stop trying to bounce everything out. Just take a loss of 2 and move on, losing 5-6 is back breaking.

Need to quite running that stretch play. The dives early in the game were working

Time for Peters to be pulled - he's just not smart enough to take this pressure. Robinson also sat too long a few times last week - but at least he's a threat to run - the pull and run around end has been open more than a few times. Peters doesn't want to run it.
