I feel like his improvement in this area has been noticeable throughout the season. Which means he can dunk it more! Who doesn't love a Kofi smash?
I think his biggest improvement has been on D. If have noticed the last 3 or 4 games he does not bite on pump fakes and makes guys score over him.

Excellent half! Loved the defense (as well as the Wisc 3-point shooting). Neither team could hit from outside and our INSIDE GAME was the 1st half difference.

Yeah I guess he can't raise his arms in reaction to being hit while his head is turned watching the play.
He unfortunately has a rep so anything close will be scrutinized. He did throw his forearm toward the player. I need to go back and look at it again at half. Not saying you are wrong but the officials watch Williams closely

Too many careless turnovers, but overall great first half. Our defense is light years better than it was to start the season. They missed some open 3’s but so did we. Need the effort for 40 against the Badgers.

Kofi is dunking, making jumpers, grabbing boards, hustling for loose balls, altering shots.

He's everywhere and I love it! Inject that into my veins every time!

The poor 3 point shooting won't last for either team but if we continue to play defense like we have this game will be a win.

How refreshing is it having a brute force in the middle that punishes the rim repeatedly? After years of being abused down low. Now we have the bully down low.

his body control, stamina, and defense all look markedly improved too.

(sorry you caught a stray Tisdale)

Can we all imagine without this past summer and Kofi missing in action on campus. What Fletch could have sculpted? Wow, Kofi looks heavier and a step or 2 slower. But mentally the game has really come to him. He gets that jump shot down, man is gonna make some serious money.

Common foul, yes. Flagrant, no way.

I'm pulling bits from that Badger Insider article that someone shared, but if/when we win this one, I can start to envision a really nice run in the NCAA tourney.

* 9 deep rotation
* Excellent chemistry
* Outstanding inside game
* A big stopper in the middle on "D"
* Two All-Americans
* 3 or 4 outside shooters (I don't see all of Grandison, Trent, Ayo and Miller going cold in the same game)
* We play with really good pace
* Defense is improving game by game

Giorgi also had a nice half. Good to see him get a couple to fall.
Can someone on this board tell Giorgi he's not a guard and to give up the ball immediately? He made one good play bringing the ball up last year and he now thinks he can all the time. Really lover GB, but his casual passing and the above drive me crazy.

Huh? He looks substantially quicker than last year to me. He was plodding last year and scored based on his freak size. Now he's got moves. Some really filthy stuff sometimes, too.

Wisconsin yet to hit a three and I believe we are 2 of 10. However, our inside scoring is huge today
