Brad really does lack in game awareness. Use it or lose it timeout and you let Wisconsin score and watch 3 seconds run off the clock instead of calling a timeout and giving your guys a chance. Thats the type of stuff that kills you in March.

Our propensity to not foul is making us too soft defensively including defensive rebounding

We can shoot!

Put a body on an opponent and we negate the offensive rebounds…we learned.

Keaton seems to miss free throws on a regular…strange. But he’s back.

Hum is Humming. He is who we thought he was.

Tomi is playing like the first round pick.

What’s Andrej’s issue?

These peacock games are a pain in the !!! even in Vegas. Finally coming at you live from the Cosmo. How have we looked?

My guess is shooting percentages and offensive rebounding normalize in 2H

Wisconsin started 7-11, then shot 7-26 the rest of the half

Allowing 9 off rebs probably won’t happen again next half

A good comeback. Taking care of business and hitting open shots. My only concern is the short bench...but playing 2 Ivisic for lengthy stretches gives us a big advantage.....and yet losing the rebound battle. Gotta keep hitting shots and getting their energy from the crowd.

Much of the good shooting is attributable to Wisky only having 3 fouls and not contesting much or well at the rim. Might be a good thing....or not.

Once again we are seeing excellent ball movement which I hope is a permanent trait of this team.

Wish this lead was more than 6. Wisconsin only shot 37% ...Illinois 58%

Wisconsin missed a ton of open looks and their top guys haven't got going

Blackwell pushed off with off arm on that "weight room" play
Wisconsin did pretty good on their open looks. They struggled on the contested ones though. Need to keep them from getting the good looks. Cleaning up the glass and getting back in transition would help wonders on that end

Our stadium atmosphere has just plummeted man. Whoever controls the music is just terrible. There's no way the players want this either. Just blaring music the entire timeouts and reviews rather than letting the band rip.

I'm sure this is a bit of an old head take but I truly can't believe anyone likes this.
Ive been to 90% of the home games during Brad’s tenure and its easily the quietest its been the last 2 years. Im not sure if the seating is wrong, speakers, crowd, DJ, or what, but its more quiet than an average HS basketball game, but louder than a Sunday evening church league game.
