I think we’ve already seen the best of this year’s Illini. Tomi has regressed horribly. Keaton has hit the wall and looks timid out there. And if Mirk isn’t playing at a high level, they’re a good/not great team. Recipe for an iffy shot at the Sweet 16.

Not an impressive first half against a Wisconsin team without their starting center. Is Tomi giving us anything that contributes to winning? Compared to the fist game this AM- the level of play in this game is considerably below. Hoping we pick it up like we are capable of doing in the second half and win by 15+.
Agreed. Part of me thinks the book is out on how to stop us and what our weaknesses are on D. We just don’t look even close to the team we were in late Jan/early Feb

Andrej was great. Missed too many open threes. Got to make those. Ben tripped by Boyd on that rebound attempt and no call from the refs was BS and changed the momentum in Wisky's favor for a bit.
That was a key missed call that started the Badgers run. Huge non call and would have been another foul on Boyd too. Ben has drawn at least 3 fouls on hustle that refs missed.

Would be perfectly fine if tomi and all his zeros stayed in the locker room the 2nd half

Stoj, Davis, Z, Mirk, and Wagler. Have we ever seen that group together?
It's a small sample size, but it didn't go well. This doesn't look like it's adjusted for opponent quality, but it's spread over 10 games:

Edit: EvanMiya's lineups are adjusted for opponent, but I don't have an account to see other combinations (correction, it says these are raw. maybe need an account to see adjsuted):

To win tomorrow (assuming we get there), we're gonna need at least 3 threes from the Ivisics. Would be nice if one of them could hit one today to get the lid off.

Tomi and Z a combined 1-6. Thats 5-42 in last 6 and half games of basketball. 5-42.
Thought when that first Z 3 went down he might have broken out of the slump. I think the problem is he's rushing the shot a bit as his tend to go a bit long. Tomi on the other hand has been front rimming everything. I just don't know if he ever got the leg strength or conditioning after all the injuries and sickness this offseason. It would explain a lot as he's been hesitant to post up, getting pushed out of rebounds and just doesn't look good.
