and this was classic big ten "we need a premium close game" officiating:
- team gets out to ~15pt lead
- "whoa we can't let this get out of hand"
- asymmetric whistling for 10 minutes, teams don't actually know what's a foul any more
- "ok it's close again, we can maybe relax the whistles for the last 3 minuts"
- hooray we got overtime!

Keaton with a baby hook? I don't believe I've seen that from him.

Holding the ball for 28 seconds and shooting a 30 footer is an option I guess, but I don't see why based on how the game was going. Thanks, I guess.

This is a real 'what have we learned' moment. We've let another team back in it. It's crunch time. Have we built the resolve to regain control against a good team or are we gonna let another slip away in the final minutes?

The answer is nothing. Two guys are torching us. Do we not have defenders athletic and fast enough do at least see if they can do better than what we’ve thrown at them?

We knew there were only a few options who we’d play and we aren’t ready.

Scout team s bad defense coaching is bad and I’m sorry, thought Orlando was a big man whisperer. We have two 7-footers and we have no inside game.

I hate feeling and saying this about a team I have been raised to love from birth and I can’t count how many Illinois diplomas are in my family….but this team and staff are trash!
