NC State had a perfect defensive gameplan but their complete inability to score is what’s doing them in

Might be over now. NC St has no one not named Horne trying to make buckets.

NC State can win this game, but missing so many open shots, especially Horne.

They squandered so many possessions in the first half - getting tripped by the floor, blocked by the rim, missing wide open threes. They've been effective at forcing bad possessions by Purdue in the half court, but the dam is gonna break if they don't start converting the gimmes.

Horne is torching Purdue. If Diarra could hit an open 3, this would be a wildly different game. You have to have him out there for the rebounding, but my gosh.

Also would be wildly different if Purdue had not turned it over 13 times already. They could easily be up 25 right now. But without any what ifs, they lead by 12.

Actually, their offense is pretty OK. But they have 14 turnovers and that will not be OK in order to beat UConn. But then that is why the games get played...ya never know for sure.
