Is there a way UConn and Purdue can both lose? I can’t stand Purdue fans, and I can’t stand Hurley, Spencer, and a few other punchable faces on UConn!

If Clingan can take Edey 1 on 1, which I think he can, Purdue could struggle. They better be hitting their 3s.

I always get the impression that Clark Kellogg would prefer Chuck and Kenny had other things on their schedule.
Look for two eclipses on Monday now that these centers are playing in the championship.

Alabama played as good as they could and UConn still won comfortably. I think UConn wins by 10+. Their perimeter players are far more athletic than Purdue and Clingan will stop Edey enough from having a monster game
Go Boilers. End the last B1G title narrative.
If Clingan neutralizes Edey to the point where they don't have to double(at least all game), UConn's guards are going to dominate.

Cligan plays 10 min less per game than Edey. It will be interesting to see what this mins look like.
Still think UCONN wins but ill be rooting for Purdue because I am Painter fan.
I think Purdue has the advantage at the 5 spot, but UConn's guards and forwards are so fluid that UConn wins Monday night. Castle is something else for UConn! I really like the way he moves on offense but his defense was even better (at least tonight -- I didn't watch much outside the B1G this season).

Nah, Purdue fans are insufferable enough as is right now.
So are michigan state fans who think they’re the Yankees and talk about Tom Izzo like he’s John wooden.
It’s going to be a first class championship game just like watching the Illini play Carolina in 04-05. Those two squads were considerable better than a really good field back then. I however had Houston instead of Purdue playing UConn this year in my bracket. The Cougars can be like Wake back then who got Pittsnoggled iirc except the Pittsnoggle was an injury to their lead guard.

The size and athleticism of UConn’s backcourt will stifle Purdue’s. Loyer will flop himself into the 3rd row all night. Smith will struggle again. Only Jones and Gillis are close to UConn’s athleticism.
Well they get a lot of tuition $ from me so I’m a secondary one now
History will show that Purdue is favored...due to there being a lack of a #1 seed losing to a #16 and not winning it all the following year. Let's go ahead and buck that trend on Monday!

Edey definitely has a power advantage against Clingan as well as Johnson. But both of UConn’s bigs are quicker and really run up and down the floor hard, whereas Edey is much slower. I’m not surprised Edey plays so many minutes with as slow as he moves.
I think UConn’s execution is just on another level. They get so many easy baskets and dunks. Their guards seem like they will be tough for Purdue to handle.

It's been wild to see how much Clingan gets pulled. I have no idea why, but if it's due to conditioning, that's a damning thing on their program and others will attack it in recruiting. Edey plays most of the game.

Reffing will be huge in this one. Get Clingan in foul trouble and Purdue gains an advantage. Get Edey in foul trouble and Purdue could get blown out.
Too much UCONN size, skill, and athleticism on the perimeter for Purdue to handle. I don't think this will be close.
