Pretty sure Alabama had a 2nd half lead against UConn

Going into tonight I was all UConn. But I find myself rooting for Purdue. The conference needs it

Clingan was absolutely gassed when he left a few minutes ago. A combination of foul trouble and being tired could be issues for him and UConn.

I was about to post that this is only the second time this millennium that #1 and #2 have met in the Championship Game, but then I saw that Purdue is ranked #3. 2005 really was an extra hyped matchup.

It is 1 v 2 in kenpom though. 4 times that's happened before.
2005 (obviously)
2008 Kansas vs Memphis (Chalmers hits the three to tie it with 2 seconds left)
2016 North Carolina vs Villanova (Jenkins with the double order of onions to win it at the buzzer)
2021 Gonzaga vs Baylor (bust)
So 3 fantastic games and one bummer, bodes well for tonight.

It's so crazy to me that people watch Edey and think he's only good because he's big. I just don't know what they are seeing.

In defense of those people, he rarely gets to show out against a high-level 7'2" player, but it really showcases his skill.

UConn will eventually double Edey. Clingan is making it tough on most shots but Edey is still converting.
