It's rugby now lol. Watching black and white FILM from old collegiate or HS games makes me laugh now: the rules are not in any way, shape or form even remotely related to those of yore. Reach in, over the back, traveling, carrying, push-off, moving screen. Antiquated ideas apparently.
Isn't it obvious? It's not that we're interpreting rules too loosely. Officials have just gotten THAT good over the last few decades.

Castle bricks an easy mid-range jumper and bricks two free throws, but on the other hand shows off his athleticism and offensive rebounding. Frustrating draft prospect.

Game isn’t quite over with Clingan having three fouls. Johnson couldn’t do anything in the first half. Who else does UConn have to throw at Edey?

While I would have liked to see Purdue win, this does make me feel (slightly) better about our loss to UConn.

We were never going to win that game.

UCONN attacking Edey this half similar to how we attacked him with Guerrier. Edey is just too slow laterally to recover against offball cuts.

UConn with height advantage at all positions but center. Edey just can't do enough to offset the other 4 positions. Purdue with only 3 shots from 3 and only 1 make. In my opinion, UConn is just too tough at the guard position and shutting Purdue down.
