smh
one would think having a relatively high paying job in the NFL would be enough to keep one clean and sober. I guess not.
I mean I guess, but weed is legal in 7 states now? NFL needs to change their stance because its not performance enhancing and it causes less problems than drinking.
Never understood this argument. Weed could be legal in 50 states and the NFL could decide that it's in the interest of the league to ban it. As mentioned previously, I feel no pity for those who can't stay off of weed when their employer is paying them millions (or close to it). Small thing to ask of them.
Not for all or even most probably, but weed is highly addictive for some. Addiction and logic do not coincide. The fact that this needs to be explained to some people is really alarming.
I believe Mr. Wales is offering the observation that the NFL could stand to re-evaluate their position (along with the rest of society). That is a little easier to sympathize with.Never understood this argument. Weed could be legal in 50 states and the NFL could decide that it's in the interest of the league to ban it. The NFL would rather you abuse opiates than partake in Marijuana. Many players have spoke about how it helps them deal with pain from playing football.
Tired of the NFL trying to be the moral arbiters, such hypocrites.
From the same league that until video of Ray Rice knocking his fiancee out went viral turned a blind eye to the violence that its players inflicted on others?
Not sure I would put much trust in what the NFL decides whats in its interest.
Co-sign x2.
The NFL is the epitome of hypocrisy (in the sporting world).
