First time in a long time I see the webcam pointed at the scoreboard this morning, revealing first time I've seen the "Gies Memorial Stadium" signage up top

Scoreboard, alone, ~$20M. All scoreboards, ribbon boards, sound system, etc., ~$40M
I remember a vague $25-30mil number given 2-3 years ago by Josh at the June roundtable, but I've never been sure if that was the cost of just the new stuff (scoreboards, lights, sound system, and wifi) or if it also included the other updates and structural work they've also done the last few years (reworking balcony structure, redoing concourses, etc).
Is that thing going to be too bright during games and cause issues for the players?
It looks amazing, but it has to be insanely bright - unless they can dial it down easily (which I assume they can).

Would like prefer a large Block “I” (ala Michigan’s “M” at the Big House) because I think it’s simple and noticeable from afar. Anything more could get “too busy.”
