We were discussing Glenbard East. They left the conference with the Naperville/Aurora schools

I'd like to think it's a better than average likelihood. He was sold on building the program, and next year is a critical year to rebuild the program with all the seniors graduating. And I'm sure everyone involved in the school will do everything they can to keep him.

No one mentioned my alma mater Geneva putting up maybe the best fight against ESL all year! IMG doesn’t count. We have way more talent and pure athletes than normal. Talyn Taylor will be fun to watch at Georgia.

On twitter mt Zion is saying they’re thr public school champs. Coal city would’ve beat them just as bad as DePaul did.

The one thing Byron got screwed on was having to okay at Montini in round 2.

Althoff should never play 1A football. It doesn’t matter if one year they managed to lose. They are a private school drawing an all star team from a large metro area.

But the only time these schools cry is when they lose. Camp point wasn’t crying on twitter last year.

Not Illinois, but watching OHSAA Div II state championship game. Looks like they have a few inches of snow on ground and been snowing all game. Game being played at Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton — as will be 3 games each on Friday and Saturday. Anderson had INT near goal line as Avon seemed to be poised to get likely game clinching TD. Only 1;34 left and Avon up by 7. Penn St WR recruit in game as well as 2026 Illini offered player (crystal ball for Ohio St). Fun to see game in this weather.

EDIT: And we have first Ohio championship this “weekend.” Avon Eagles win 20-13.
