Great work. A lot of the game photos I've seen posted by the team's official twitter this season have that weird, dark, HDR filter applied to them. Not a fan.

Thanks Sampson, but do you have an example of "that look"?
Ok, just looked more and see what you mean. Think it's their artistic decision to push up the amount of color in their media...

Hey, wonder which specific pics above people like the most and least?

I know what I like (and how other people shoot), but I've only shot three games total and my style is still very much a work in progress. So far I think I've heard that some like more realistic color saturation, and the emotion you get when shooting close in. More crits are most welcome...

FYI, my two favorites are #2 and #5 (starting at the top).

Curious about your setup. What camera, lens, etc.? Also, any tips for the aspiring photog as to how you get these shots?

Emotion and in action shots are the best.
