Illini Bars in Your City

Anyone know of a place near SJ that will be showing the game? Everyplace I've checked uses DirectTV which does not have NBCSN. Peacock has evidently priced themselves out of the business market. Time for our first group watch?

I don't have an answer to your question but I will throw out a couple places for Springfield area folks. Motorheads has a room in the back of their bar/grill that has a massive near theater sized screen. There were several organized game watches there last year. Good place to eat also.

Also a place has opened right by Scheels called Legends Entertainment. It is a Dave n Busters type arcade with a 12 lane bowling alley. But the main hall is essentially a food court concept with upwards of 90 tv's in the main room. Including 4 huge screens. They have Sunday ticket and when I went there the day of the Illini Oregon game they appeared to have more than just the normal network/cable selection of games so I'm guessing they have the various streaming services capabilities. Not a paid spokesman but as a long time Springfield area resident it is easily one of the coolest things I have ever seen come into our area. It's essentially a Vegas sportsbook quality tv setup in a food court with bars & entertainment options. Highly recommend.
