I'm clearly blinded by my orange tinted glasses, but I really don't see a scenario in which we lose to Miznoz, barring major injuries. Porters will go off, but college basketball games are decided by guard play, of which ours are better IMO.

Also, as most of you guys in here probably know from my posts, I have complete confidence in BU and his coaching ability.

I guess you haven't been paying to attention to past Braggin' Rights games. It doesn't matter who has more talent. It's going to be a dog fight 99% of the time. That's why it's such a fun game.

I just hope Leron can stay cool. Our bigs have to stay out of foul trouble.

The defensive gameplan will be real interesting. Anyone know if BU plays any zone? I know BU backed his pressure m2m defense off last year...which ultimately turned OSU around after rough b12 start. This game will be a good test in December.

Aren't you kinda making my point for me? Mizzou is much more talented than we are. Maybe more NBA rentals than anybody in the sec but Kentucky? Despite that I still think we're gonna win.

BU does play zone to mix it up. He uses a 3-2 when he does. Leaves corners slightly uncovered but clogs penetration. In any zone you gotta take away the high post, and from watching osu last year and SFA before, it's very clear his guys know that. .

Any word on when Alstork and Vessel will show up??

I know that one of the freshman are returning this weeked, I believe he HAS to be back by Monday so I'm guessing Alstork and Vesel will be there around that time as well.

Crazy to think Mark Smith is just 18. He's young like Malcolm Hill when he entered college. Mark is already way ahead physically because he's built like a truck and Malcolm was a twig.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but if memory serves me right Malcolm didn't turn 18 until October of his freshman year.

Most freshman going into college are 18.

But if the point was that he is very developed then yes i would agree with that. He is built like a brick

Yes I know Malcolm personally so this is not news to me. A good amount of people don't turn 18 in August before they go to school. Most of my friends and I turned 18 while we were still in high school, not right before.

I am personally expecting much more from Smith than I ever would have from Malcolm at the same stage of their careers. A lot had to do with positon, but the builds alone at a comparable stage, would suggest that Smith should weather the B1G transition easier than Malcolm did....Malcolm did pretty well himself, so good things to come for us fans!
