Funny in that when I read some of the comments and opinions, I can't help but laugh inside. Wasn't thinking "clown like."

I think this is a little bit of semantics. The point is that he gained weight, got stronger, and kept his body fat percentage low. He probably added a few pounds of body fat as well.
We beat several tournament teams last year such as NW, Mich. BYU. Also lost to bad teams. If we beat tournament teams does that mean we had sufficient talent? Or does it mean we were better coached? Assuming we are of the opinion that it was not coaching but lack thereof where does good coaching put us this year? I believe we have at least equal talent as the only significant loss was MH. Saying we lost our top three scorers is a result of who we played not ability IMO. It seems to me that we have the talent to compete with everyone but MSU. We do have a learning curve with a new coach and young players but that is what the non-conference is about. I admit to having a prejudice but we should be competive in every game and win more than half.

We have to win the games you are suppose too.....all the non-conference contests... Be competitive in the b10 and let the team gel as they get better ....

Totally agree. Still the best athlete on the team and the added muscle will really help.

Don't get your hopes up. Normally this is his big day but might be plain vanilla today.
Well, considering his ranking was outside the top-500, that shouldn't be much of a hurdle.
I'm not sure what our expectations for him should be, but IMO they should be pretty low. His athleticism should help a lot on defense and working in transition, but I have a hard time believing he has much of a developed game based on the expert rankings. We're going to need him either way....
