I'd rather have the National POW.So Ayo ties for national player of the week but can't at least tie for Big 10 player of the week? seems off to me.

Double bye is top 4; bye is top 10.Can someone explain which teams get a bye and which get a double bye in the B10 tourney? If we finish top four do we get a double bye?
Lose at Iowa, Ohst, Pstate, Rutgers, win all others including all at Home. Reasonable projections I think.http://bball.notnothing.net/big10.php?sport=mbb
Best source I know of, interactive projections. Right know shows us with a 2 Seed.
(I don't remember who first posted, but it's handy. Could have been danielb)
On the positive side there was no underage drinking since Lyle and his friends are all 28

Crazily enough I think Ohio St most likely. We will win at least one of these. Probably two. Three isn't crazy talk anymore.
Thank you.Double bye is top 4; bye is top 10.
Nope, we're the Road Warriors. 2-2 at worst.Lose at Iowa, Ohst, Pstate, Rutgers, win all others including all at Home. Reasonable projections I think.
AND, I’m still holding all three, eh?WizBill scolded me because I thought he was smoking something when he boldly predicted a couple weeks ago no more than 3 loses the rest of the regular season....:hand:
When was the last time it was packed! This is AWESOME! Plus its the orange and blue game so wear the right colors , it is a great marketing idea!
I just looked at ticket prices. i wanna go but i am not dropping a grand to sit in the rafters. But lets get a top 4 finish so all of the fans that wait can go and the other half can go home!Purchased my tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to the B1G tourney. First time going and really hoping to see Illini all 3 days of action. With how deep the B1G0 is this year, should make for an exciting tourney in Indy.

I had no idea the Lobos had both Lyle and Bragg. Wow. That would have been a hell of a class a few years back.
Bragg got kicked out recently...

Hope you can say this same thing 5 weeks from now
On my phone, it’s difficult to bold text. However, just because pundits call it “Overachieving” does not mean it’s true. It’s only overachieving if it’s just based on hype. I saw we had the players and were going to make some real noise.Taken from a free ESPN article dated 1/28

Big Ten
Overachieving: Illinois. With Kofi Cockburn on the floor, Illinois is one of the best teams in the country. In those situations, Illinois has connected on 53.4% of its attempts inside the arc and held opponents to just 87 points per 100 possessions. Per the Chicago Tribune, a preseason Big Ten media poll projected Brad Underwood's squad to finish seventh. Instead, the program entered the week tied with Michigan State for first place (both 7-2) and chasing a top-eight seed in the NCAA tournament. Saturday's thrilling road win over Michigan was its sixth in a row and third Big Ten road win.
