Just realized I called Tyler Underwood coming back for a 5th year. BOOK IT!

I'm shocked you guys don't see it... It's so clear why he's leaving. Who started in the last game of the season? Not Alan. Wouldn't you say who starts at the end of the season is a representation of whos the best on the team?
Tyler Underwood started. Him and Brad are looking into the possibilities of a 5th year. He's about to have his breakout year. Book it

Leaked that we're in the Jimmy V Classic, will play Baylor... should be a good game, Ayo v Jared Butler

For quick reference each of these schools 2019-20 Kenpom Rankings / 2020-21 T-Rankings is:
Illinois: 30 / 16; Wright St: 133 / 124; Ohio: 167 / 14; NCA&T: 287 / 263

If we assume that these will count as HOME games for Illinois, that means that Wright State is likely a Quad 3 game, Ohio may be a Quad 3 or 4 game, and NCA&T is almost certainly a Quad 4 game.

While these 3 games aren't going to really help our post-season resume, they are a nice way to get some early season cupcake wins while testing out some rotations before going to Orlando 5 days later to take on what is likely to be a Top 5 ranked Baylor team.

Agreed. I stated earlier we need these games to test our depth. Could not see BU going 10-11 deep if all games were close ones.

Will not help our sos, but that is what we have the big 10 for as well as the other highly competitive games.

I understand the need for some comfortable wins, I wish the competition would be a bit better. But, we will have plenty of tough games to prove ourselves.

sacraig

The desert
Pretty underwhelming. It's fine for sharpening our skills but super boring and not going to help seeding.

It gives the program the most control to get games in the win column by having a small bubble on campus. We don't know what will happen this winter but if anything is happening come March there could be some serious variation in games played due to covid. I don't view this move as a negative. Just glad they got something on the books.

Definitely an interesting investigation, externally that culture seemed ideal and they were the poster child for midmajors for the past decade. Disappointing it obviously wasn't what it seemed (though his demeanor on the sidelines might have indicated such, but glass houses...).
Take it for what it's worth but I heard an interview by a reporter of a Wichita newspaper who called the allegations BS. He claims that there were a number (6?) of disgruntled players who had been recruited over and wanted to transfer. When they made the decision they assumed that they were going to be granted immediate eligibility at their new schools. When the ncaa drug its feet on passing the new rule for immediate eligibility, they got concerned that they might have to sit out a year. Thus, they got together and came up with the abuse story in order to grease the way for immediate eligibility. This local reporter, of course, has a vested interest in not antagonizing the coaching staff.

In that practice photo can anyone identify who's on each team?

From what I see (Offense / Defense):
Giorgi / Kofi
Orange Shoes (Miller?) / Hawkins
? (far left corner) / Curbelo (white sleeves)
? (Hutcherson?) / Ayo (on ball)
Williams / blocked from view (Trent?)

Sidelines: Verdonk, Lieb, Grandison (arms behind back), ? Hamlin?

If I'm right that means
Team A: Trent, Ayo, Curbelo, Hawkins, Kofi
Team B: Hutcherson, Miller, Williams, ?, Giorgi
