I remember when there was no interwebs.....And no ESPN TV ...............I had to run to the store to pick up a St. Louis Post Dispatch newspaper to see who drafted who in the NFL Draft.....Back in my days it was 1000 rounds of picking and choosing ....I would get my paper and go down to my van down by the river and see who the St. Louis Cardinals picked and what position they played ......

The Sporting News was by far the best publication in those days. Incredible amount of information!

You are correct sir .........I can't remember , was that a weekly or monthly publication ??....I'm thinking weekly but not sure .........

The over exposure today of any and all info regarding sports sometimes overwhelms me with numbness conflicting my thought process......I try to stay grounded to the news about the Cardinals , Blues and , of course the beloved Fighting Illini.................
