Hey bro...just saw your post..I've been watching the replay of the misery game.....A lot has been said about Bardo's announcing Illini games...I think he did a better job this game than usualHo, ho, ho, my Paducah brother. Santa filled your stocking early!
My observation about the KenPom dispersion of BT teams as of 12/24: don't really care that the Gophers are #70 and Rutgers is #98. Neither of them (nor PSU, whom we avoid this year in State College) will be easy road wins, IMO. Never are. (Obvi, as Purdue learned to its dismay.)
And on a personal note, thanks to Dan for hosting us, and to all of my fellow Loyalty posters, for yet another year of great enjoyment and Illini bonding. Happy Holidays to all. Celebrate em' if you got em'!

When things go sideways, what gets lost is the subject originally discussed. After the first “punch” is thrown, it goes off the rails pretty quickly. Two pages of insults later, you forget what you were talking about.
I’m not a Warriors fan per se, but I hate using Steph and Klay’s nickname — especially given that they are still active (assuming Klay makes it back). As many Illini fans as there are in the world, no one can come up with an original nickname? Kind of disappointing.

I appreciate Dan 's moderation here.......It's his site , so it's his ballgame ....nuff said .....................i guess to have a board moderated in a way you completely agree with would basically require you to start one yourself......Opinion's are great............................But you will never get 100 % agreement on anything on an internet sports message board ......Not gonna happen...................................JMHO
And there are plenty of places to “discuss” coronavirus. Doesn’t need to happen on an Illini sports forum. There are enough opportunities for discourse and disagreements with topics that everyone is seemingly coming at from the same place — Illini fans. I for one greatly appreciate the job Dan does here. Overall he seems to have a fairly light hand.
