Similar, maybe, but better. If he was given the same amount of play time as Grandi last year, I think he would score as much.I like Goode and I think he'll play a lot. I think he will develop into a similar player to Grand.
Possibly, but Grandi was a really efficient scorer. And a really smart player as well. It's no insult to Goode to say he can be similar to J. Grand.Similar, maybe, but better. If he was given the same amount of play time as Grandi last year, I think he would score as much.
Goode getting more than 7, RJ getting more than 20. Also, not sure how Coleman and Dain only get a combined 30 minutes when they're the only 2 that can play the 5 and can both play the 4 (more Coleman at the 4 tho)Here's my current minute projections. Outside of Shannon and Mayer, I think there's a huge battle brewing for minutes. Really love it.
Shannon 28
Mayer 25
Dainja 10
Hawkins 20
Clark 22
Epps 15
Melendez 20
Goode 7
Harris 3
Rodgers 10
Remaining to 40

Agree on BBV. It would have been nice if he had stayed. I don't think Lieb is ready for decent minutes. The 3rd string 5 is still scary. Wish BBV had stayed. Is Lieb capable of giving us some decent minutes when foul trouble happens like BBV last year? If not, we’re going to have to rely on a tall lineup and lots of help defense against the true bigs like Edey.
I don't think he's "guaranteed" a starting spot. But who would you have ahead of him? Obviously Shannon and Mayer are going to start. And Skyy also highly likely. After that it seems RJ and Coleman are the most likely.I may get scorched for this, even though I absolutely love RJs potential, but I guess I don’t see why people think he’s guaranteed a starter spot. I’ve no inside info, I just didn’t see enough out of him last year to say he’s our best returning player. Honestly, what am I missing? And please feel free to prove me wrong.
That's why there's 40 minutes left over. Wh wants them?Goode getting more than 7, RJ getting more than 20. Also, not sure how Coleman and Dain only get a combined 30 minutes when they're the only 2 that can play the 5 and can both play the 4 (more Coleman at the 4 tho)

BU likes hyperbole. I think we are going to be like Baylor, Houston, etc. Lots of weapons. We will see if someone emerges as the alpha, alas, Ayo.BU is hyping him up as much as anyone. He said this is RJ's team now.
If one emerges, I think RJ or Skyy seem the most likely to really take on the Alpha role IMO.BU likes hyperbole. I think we are going to be like Baylor, Houston, etc. Lots of weapons. We will see if someone emerges as the alpha, alas, Ayo.
I doubt Epps gets 15 minutes a game. Goode and RJ didn't even average 10 a game last year and we had tons of injuries. Goode should average over 10. Crazy thing is most of our team can play 1 thru 4 other than Dainja, Epps, Harris, Clark and Lieb. Here's my current minute projections. Outside of Shannon and Mayer, I think there's a huge battle brewing for minutes. Really love it.

A good measure of the program’s progress is a post worrying about the 3d string center. The 3rd string 5 is still scary. Wish BBV had stayed. It's a legitimate worry.A good measure of the program’s progress is a post worrying about the 3d string center.
I believe BU knows he underplayed RJ last year, but agree he is not a lock to start...although I believe he will.BU likes hyperbole. I think we are going to be like Baylor, Houston, etc. Lots of weapons. We will see if someone emerges as the alpha, alas, Ayo.
I agree and don’t jinx us but injury is always a concern. It's a legitimate worry.
Not just defense. I think BU also cares about experiences and offense (e.g, Plummer.) Based on that, I think RJ and Goode plays more minutes than any freshmen not named Skyy.I believe BU knows he underplayed RJ last year, but agree he is not a lock to start...although I believe he will.
Like most BU past, I suspect whoever is best 5 Defenders in their position, will get on floor first.
We lost alot of offense,...but Defense wins championships.
