No I don't but it was played up big time when announced......
Woodson has a long history at loosierville for sure , and a longer history in the NBA..
With all the overrated players last year they under performed and barely made the dance..
I guess this year's question about the loosiers is who's worse. The players or the coach ???

I am with you 100%. I'm not trying to be a jerk just because I hate Indiana. I honestly do not see the infatuation with him. I watched and re-watched many of their games from last year and just don't get where these experts are coming from. He looks like one of the softest bigs I've seen in the B10 in years. Maybe I'll be proven wrong but my guess is that whoever drafts him will rue that day.

My opinion has something to do with my general great disdain for anything loosiers and I trace ( pun intended) that back to the obnoxious nature of one booby knight..........No doubt booby was a great coach , it's just his words and actions portrayed a very immature man with a bullying attitude......
Back to TJD , I too have replayed some of the loosiers games and I'm still amazed watching TJD and his shooting touch around the rim , especially after he gets an offensive rebound or receiving a pass down low .....Some of his shots within that arc in the paint from 5 feet out never hit the rim and look more like a volleyball spike back over the net......His hustle back on defense against an opponent's fast break would garner him a seat on the bench if he played for BU......
IMHO , the B1G has 2 players , TJD and Huntie boy , being pumped up for national honors without much merit for that level of accolades.....I would agree that Huntie boy should receive mention for his spastic display after a basket or 3 point shot........
With hope that RJ or TSJ ascend to 1st team status within the B1G , please somebody please , take the opportunity to take away those said honors from these two frauds of two hated programs in the B1G................

Doubt we see a box score. Usually it's something like, "The team looked really good. Some stuff to work on but way ahead of where the staff thought they'd be at this point. [Insert starter name] was the best player on the floor. He's going to be a problem. Don't sleep on [insert role player name], he's going to push for starters minutes by the end of the year. This might be the best team Brad Underwood has ever coached."
And honestly, I'm here for it. Literally, I'm on the board right now for that reason.
Me too. I’m a long time fan of Illini basketball and am about as excited for this season as I’ve been before. Really looking forward to the development of each player and the team chemistry being built. 1-10 I’m actually genuinely excited about seeing what they can do for the team.
These are not usually true scrimmages. Coaches stop play to coach. They set up situations to work on. Play different defenses for the other team to work against.
Plus, I’m still not sure Shannon is playing.

The stats just seem… strange. 0/9 from the field for Lieb, really??? 4 blocks for Dain against a team like Kansas also seems fishy. Obviously I can’t confirm to you whether the post is legit or not, but I highly doubt it’s true.

I thought the most suspicious part was just getting stats at all.
As Combes said above, it's not really a true exhibition. Hard to read into the stats too much without knowing how many minutes the players had, what kind of situations they were put into, etc.
I guess I'll just wait for reports from b loyalty insiders or credentialed media.

RJ just went live from what I assume is the bus. Said they were just arriving from St. Louis. Said he had like 18 points and played well over the course of the various games. He said it was about 50/50 us and them. He was speaking in Spanish.
