/s does NOT mean “Sencire” When /s appears at the end of a post, it means the post was meant to be sarcastic.
I tend to take things at face value and struggle to discern the tones or true meanings of some posts. Therefore, I really appreciate the use of /s on posts when warranted. It helps those of us on this forum who do not easily recognize the subtleties of some posts. Also, its usage can help avoid misunderstandings which can lead to snarky exchanges on the forum.

Hate to be pedantic, however, as my highschool English teacher once told me; sarcasm can only be expressed vocally, tone being very important as well as context. Telling someone that you're being sarcastic defeats the purpose. Isn't it ironic?

They were a pretty solid team when healthy.

I only saw them play against Oregon St twice and a little in tournament and thought their starting 5 was solid. Granted it was against OSU, but I think their starting 5 all scored in double figures in both games — and pretty certain Williams didn’t play in second game.

I believe that the coaching staff said the team would be all assembled by the 4th of July. We have about 8 hours left in the Fourth and no news update....

Anyone heard ANYTHING? What's the hold up for Tomi and Will? If they delay too long they will miss some serious bonding time with the rest of the team, not to mention being Fletched this summer.

I get nervous when my kids are out after curfew....

We NEED an update... and reassurances!!
