In the post I quoted, you said "with at least a similar offensive efficiency."
The difference between the fastest team in D1 and Illinois was 6 possessions per game. With Illinois' efficiency last year, that would have accounted for an additional 8 points. I'd expect them to try to be about Kentucky fast, which is 3 possessions faster and 4 points with the same efficiency. A slightly lower efficiency, and you're looking at them scoring overall about a point or two more a game.I could see us shaving a few seconds off in the half court game, but I really doubt we run nearly as much fastbreak without Shannon going end to end in 4 seconds all the time.

3 possessions faster would make them the fastest Big Ten team in the KenPom era, outside of 2020 Nebraska, who finished 2-18 in conference. The difference between the fastest team in D1 and Illinois was 6 possessions per game. Time per possession definitely seems like a better stat than possessions/game because of the opponent influence.3 possessions faster would make them the fastest Big Ten team in the KenPom era, outside of 2020 Nebraska, who finished 2-18 in conference.
Opponents influence tempo. Unless the rest of the Big Ten (or new additions) play faster, 3 more possessions per game seems unlikely.
It perhaps wasn’t but unless the ref can discern a millimeter of air between hand and ball, it’s a turnover.I believe that's a misleading angle. Didn't appear to be a double dribble live speed, imo.

Seeing what they drafted this year, I don’t see him not being in the top 10.IL MBB clip, but the text is what's important. couldn't agree more. barring injury, Riley is a one and done
GMs are gonna be rather excited over this kid
Ivisic cleared through Croatian Embassy? Arrival this weekend?
R. Schroat posted on twitter. Any of those in the know, able to confirm?

What happened. I heard BU was a bum and we were a bottom half of the B1G team just a couple of months ago, and now we contending for a natty?
Brad never has a Plan B. If Plan A doesn’t work he just comes up with another Plan A.What happened. I heard BU was a bum and we were a bottom half of the B1G team just a couple of months ago, and now we contending for a natty?
One of the things that makes BU great is that he has a plan A to a plan Z, and they are all pretty good (and getting better every year). In years before BU, if we missed on plan A or B or maybe C if we had one, we were sunk. Some people just can't get out of that mindset.
Yeah, I suppose you are right, because for any Plan A that doesn't work, we didn't want the guy anyway. The next plan is always the better plan.Brad never has a Plan B. If Plan A doesn’t work he just comes up with another Plan A.![]()
Saw Brad out walking yesterday afternoon. He has his arm in a sling. Anyone know what happened? Would talk to him but he is always on the phone. Never want to interrupt.
