Will seems like a great kid with a great support system around him. Super proud to be able to root for him!! (That Drake song is 🗑️ though! )
You can tell that his mom and dad have done a great job raising him. He’s going to represent University of Illinois forever in a great way. He will be a multimillionaire over and over, but he’s the type of person who will be smart with his money and also classy with his Actions off the court. I’m very proud of him and his entire family as they are what the university of Illinois represents, greatness.

Adebayo would be a good player to pattern around for Rez. Can hit the 3's, play inside, very mobile and athletic.
reminds me a lot of...

Didn't seem worthy of a separate thread.
Saw that the next 4 years of B1G tourney sites have been announced.

Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament dates and sites

  • March 12-16, 2025: Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, Ind.)
  • March 11-15, 2026: United Center (Chicago, Ill.)
  • March 10-14, 2027: Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, Ind.)
  • March 8-12, 2028: T-Mobile Arena (Las Vegas, Nev.)
Pretty attractive for Illini fans

You should probably say his agent will be smart with his money. That's what agents get paid to do.

I remember being sent to my room after pissing the old man off, but I never made it all the way there. Listened to the TV on the staircase and went bananas when that thing went in. No further punishment was administered.
Still one of the most impressive full court plays I've ever seen. Screened the guy pressuring the inbounder (he played QB in high school IIRC) to free up a frozen rope of a pass to Kaufman, who knew he had just enough time after the catch to take a dribble and step into his shot. Perfect.

Lou was masterful in designing these plays. Even when they didn't drop, they were well crafted. the last two plays in the Austin Peay game were perfect. Just didn't get the shot to go in. and of course the Nick Shot. Others as well.

I think some of us need to temper expectations a bit for this team. Kasparas Jakucionis is a very good player but has some definite weaknesses and there is no Terrance Shannon on this team. Or Marcus Domask. They will really miss those guys and their scoring. I think it will be a good team but they might struggle a bit for a little while.

Nobody had even said anything positive yet, but thanks for the reminder, geez lol

Domask-type role is not even remotely close. Woof.

Tyler Herro. Not quite the athlete, but similar creative offensive games-and KJ is a much more capable facilitator, as we've seen.
I'd say kinda like the George kid from Baylor a few years back.

This Domask comp's been thrown out there for pretty much all wing/frontcourt guys in this cycle. Matter of fact, KJ probably isn't even a wing. Has became a bit of an immature comp IMO.
