See, now this is something that I agree with you on.Illinois should hire you for an advisor as you always seem to know what they should have done.

He played at Peoria Notre Dame . He was a hard working kid, but not a player you looked at and said “ That’s a Big 10 kid.” Illinois was in a different place with recruiting at the time.I don't know why you need to make a narrative where none exists. Families don't (usually) buy their kids' way onto teams.
He was a 3 star player and, if memory serves, we seemed to slow play him a bit. Might have been a token offer.
But my memory might be fuzzy.

I don't understand what you wanted the staff to do. Not recruit him? You are asking for the staff to anticipate what one of the most inept organizations around will do?

Advisors are not Monday morning quarterbacks, though. They advise on these situations prior to them occurring. Requires deep knowledge of a process or thing, something this person does not have.
This person honestly thinks the staff should get rid of Coach O and hire him because he could've handled this better.
EDIT: I'd actually bet a lot of money that the staff did get good advice/guidance here, and Coach O knew going into recruiting him that there was a good chance he would not be eligible until late December or early January. As someone else said, not a problem, really. You can add him as the conference schedule approaches. Morez gets a lot more playing time than he otherwise would, which is great for us (and Morez is a freshman, but not your average freshman by any means). I'm sure that this was explored in depth by what is a top-tier Division I collegiate coaching staff. For some rando to come on here and act like they know more about the situation and could have handled it better themselves is completely crazy and absurd (but does make for great entertainment though lol).
I just can't seem to hit it.......ignore is your friend
Likely true....unless his son, brother, or father is the one making the decision.Advisors are not Monday morning quarterbacks, though. They advise on these situations prior to them occurring. Requires deep knowledge of a process or thing, something this person does not have.

some will see this as sour grapes:
it definitely isn't
Yes. It would take a rash of injuries in frontcourt I think for him not to red shirt. If Tomi doesn't play until January, is Jakstys still a redshirt?
I'm confused by your take here. Who "honestly" said that Coach O should be under any fire? You literally came up with that on your own.Advisors are not Monday morning quarterbacks, though. I'll never not like this because I love seeing Sissoko get hip tossed.
Was just about the type the exact same thing. I was good with that call then, and I'm good with it now.I'll never not like this because I love seeing Sissoko get hip tossed.
T on each and both ejected would have made me happy.I'll never not like this because I love seeing Sissoko get hip tossed.
Was she taller than you?Just met a girl here in Dallas with an Illini hat on. Asked her if she went to school there and she said no but my brother plays for them. I said what's his name? She said "Will Riley."
Small world.
His user name would suggest not....Was she taller than you?

Does anyone know which is the Illinois side of Enterprise for the Braggin' Rights game? I can't find that info anywhere.
About 5’9” if I had to guess. She was out running so didn’t get too far into convo so not sure what she’s doing here. We were less than 2 miles from the SMU campus tho so possibly. Was she taller than you?
