When talking about Kylan, MLT subtly calls out TW for not going over to pick up Dra after getting fouled on a layup attempt. I noticed this too; TW wanted the lob and was upset about not getting it. Didn’t love seeing that two hours after finding out Ty was out of the picture.

In that moment, I definitely thought there should have been a lob there.
But still, he should have picked his teammate up.
First off YES I realize this very well not be the correct place to post this.......
One of many things I like and get joy out of......JC and any team over last what seems like 150yrs DISCLOSRE bout myself** I am not even half this old.....BUT love watching and observing any and everyone's reactions towards any JC info!! Recently they won by 15...but against far what should have been easy, opponent !!!! ME personally have made many of mistakes about JC and his teams.....yet my foolish self still catches myself enjoying laughs , then sometime later in the same season falling farther into the hole of temporary insanity saying oh wow was I so wrong!! and then almost guaranteed at least for the third or forth time every season having the comfort knowing at least I wasn't a complete fool yes I am well aware this comment or others opinions may already think so about me and im ok with all that !!!! smiles and just walks off !!! Great health....wishes....and respect to all my fellow Illini FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've very much enjoyed these last 7 years of Underwood ball. The video played before the game tonight made me really dwell on that.
It's nice that, apparently, KJ and TI are in no way hot shots, prima donnas, etc.
Not that I necessarily expected that they would be, but they do have slightly more prestigious backgrounds than a transfer from Mercer, say.
They both seem like nice humble kids, eager to please coach, coachable, etc.
I loved that moment today where KJ did the Euro cheek-to-cheek thing with Morez after the latter's big shot block.

After two games, the 2024-25 scoring seems a little clearer. Speculating our three NBA guys will lead the way. Here's my guess, with an 8-man rotation once conference season rolls around:
16 - KJ (we need the ball in his hands at crunch time)

9 - Humrichous (80% of his scoring will come from threes)

Where are the other 16 points?
Two years ago Virginia was top 5 for two ranked wins vs us and Baylor the first two or three weeks of the season...
I'd assume somewhat about there...
No chance we're top 5 at any point this year
I'd say top 10, maybe 8th? They'll still be some other undefeated teams by that point. Whether those teams were also undefeated at the time also matters. Alabama would have to have beaten Purdue @ Purdue and Arkansas would have beaten Baylor.

But I watched a bit of UNC-KU last night, and I would just believe in us a lot more if it were one year from now. This is still the Covid super senior's sport.
