Out of the 18 big ten teams, Michigan State and Indiana are 17th and 18th in strength of schedule up to this point.

I was looking at our schedule and am a little disappointed that we only have one Saturday home game after today. We host Michigan State on February 15th.

Auburn plays @ Alabama on the 15th so my guess would be Gameday goes there but Bama hosts Kentucky the following Saturday, so Gameday in Champaign isn't totally off the table.

I know there's a lot of folks here that hate ESPN but it's a cool experience for the Krush and the rest of the students.

The Field of 68 is such a mixed bag. I feel like a lot of times I have better and more knowledgeable discussions with my friends.

Jerel McNeal is questioning a top-10 defense? Come on. Do just a little bit of preparation please.
Yes, the offense is a far more ripe for potential concern because they're a team that shoots a zillion threes and is rather average at best at it. If teams adjust defensive scheme to bait the less good shooters, Illinois could pretty easily hit an extended rough patch.

I love Ty. He seems like an awesome dude. He's obviously not going to be here next year and it's not even worth talking about.
More than likely yes, but with Humichrous out of eligiblity and KJ certainly going to the NBA, that's two guys whose minutes he has an opportunity for based on role/usage. We know Underwood never really stays pat with recruiting/transferring but at least on paper, retaining Ty as a recruiting priority does seem like the sort of thing that would make a lot of sense. We know the BU era has like non-existent retention, so I'm not overly optimistic about that being the case.

An argument can be made that Ben has up to three years of eligibility remaining. Give him back his NAIA years and add a bonus year for COVID.

We saw today exactly why they will go get another big time guard for next year once KJ is gone. Boswell is a very good player, but he is better as a secondary option and not a first option
Amen…he’s not ready to be the primary ball handler.

That's just not his strong suit either. I think the team will be preseason top 10 next year but they will go get a pg to replace KJ
Hope Dre sticks around even if we bring in another guy. Not to mention the two freshman guards.
