I mean, what do you expect an Indiana centric podcast to say at this point in the year?Man… they are continuing to drink the Cream and Crimson Kool-Aid over in Bloomington.

Read it earlier this morning. A lot of cookie cutter type and what do you expect him to say answers, but good read. The one thing I found very interesting is his comment about influx of European players. In addition to them being physically readier than HS players, he said something like some would say they are “more coachable.”Piper feature on Stojakavic (and its free):
If you follow any of the "locked on" podcasts, they're really just hype pieces for that team's fan base. I somewhat enjoy the concept honestly.Man… they are continuing to drink the Cream and Crimson Kool-Aid over in Bloomington.

Yeah… I posted that at the time. The preview episode and the one following the game were great because that guy seemed incredulous that Illinois was even in the same building as South Carolina. If you follow any of the "locked on" podcasts, they're really just hype pieces for that team's fan base. I somewhat enjoy the concept honestly.
Side note: if you want a doozy, watch the "Locked on Gamecocks" episode of the live reaction from the bowl loss![]()
how is Andrej at defending? His tidbit about guarding the opposing team’s best player shocked me. I did not watch them play at all last year and defensive metrics only tell so much.Piper feature on Stojakavic (and its free):
Typical BU exaggeration, but he is a way better run-jump athlete than Tomi. Tomi the better overall player.Big Z "freakishly athletic" according to BU on Sportsline while ago
Any Jason Kidds on this team?Big Z "freakishly athletic" according to BU on Sportsline while ago
He is definitely more athletic than T. I don’t know about his lateral movement and if he can switch to guards, but he can run and jump really well. I don’t know if he is also longer than T, or if his jumping and slighter build makes him appear that way, but that helps his shot blocking and lob catching too.Big Z "freakishly athletic" according to BU on Sportsline while ago
I’m literally almost envious of their completely delusional and utterly unfounded faith in themselves, lol.Man… they are continuing to drink the Cream and Crimson Kool-Aid over in Bloomington.

FWIW, he's an active shot blocker from behind. He's clever at anticipating and rotating. on-the ball defender? I couldn't say, but he is a good athlete with a high basketball IQ.how is Andrej at defending? His tidbit about guarding the opposing team’s best player shocked me. I'm super glad we've got 'em both. Stretch centers are hard to find. We all know Tomi is a superb passer.Typical BU exaggeration, but he is a way better run-jump athlete than Tomi. Tomi the better overall player.
He is a pretty freak athlete for a 7'2 guy. It's rare to see the type of fluidity that he has at that size.Typical BU exaggeration, but he is a way better run-jump athlete than Tomi. Tomi the better overall player.
Tomi is so fundamentally solid. He has a bit of Tim Duncan in him (not saying he's that good). If Z, with his athleticism, could get his skills up to Tomi's level, we would have quite a player.I'm super glad we've got 'em both. Stretch centers are hard to find. We all know Tomi is a superb passer.
Find me another fan base projected to finish in the middle of a league with an OBVIOUS favorite in Purdue that is baselessly claiming they are “clearly” the team to beat, lol. Let’s not normalize their very special delusion, dude.I mean, what do you expect an Indiana centric podcast to say at this point in the year?
Locked On has a podcast for every team and every headline is the most dramatic click-bait possible, both good and bad.Find me another fan base projected to finish in the middle of a league with an OBVIOUS favorite in Purdue that is baselessly claiming they are “clearly” the team to beat, lol. Yeah…. They’re pretty much all over the top.Locked On has a podcast for every team and every headline is the most dramatic click-bait possible, both good and bad.

Can he disrupt teams at the 3 point arc the way the Kentucky did to the Illini at NCAA?He is a pretty freak athlete for a 7'2 guy. It's rare to see the type of fluidity that he has at that size.
It's why he was so hyped before his Kentucky debut.
I don't think he's a guy that you want switching onto guards but he is way more mobile than Tomi and you don't have to just stick him in drop coverage. Can he disrupt teams at the 3 point arc the way the Kentucky did to the Illini at NCAA?
