I hope this is the push over the fence. Was a weird shift here over the past few months as people were out of nowhere oddly supportive of hamer's DC.
If you look at our defense - the struggles are more coaching/scheme based than it is player and personnel imho.

i believe charles barkeley mentioned during our KY game how we guarded ball screens is just not the best approach.
people hard hedged KJ to death. what strikes me is we were always so reluctant to give up points - whether that be with lack of ball pressure, willingly leaving guys wide open to shoot, the ball screen defense, and simply way too easy for great post players like Kaufman-Renn.

Brad has had some very tough, honest conversations … Defense hasn’t been good enough the last couple years … And even TJ covered up A LOT …
He saw it … Made the change …
Pivoting continues to be Brad's strength, even if he doesn't necessarily do it on our preferred timelines.
