I share your enthusiasm. but I'm enthusiastic about Wagler too, it's just that he has a longer runway, I reckon.

I'm enthusiastic about all our guys. looking for leaps from a good number of them. and I really hope Ben makes the haters eat crow. I think he has it in him
How noble of you. This is a typical stance from you.

Ben was bad.

I’m sure everyone hopes he does well.

Contrary to popular belief , when I played HS BB we did NOT shoot FT's underhanded...............But it was before the clear see thru backboards...........I shot FT's @ 80 % with my beloved corner FG % @ 50 %............loved those corner shots and of course way before the 3 point arc.......................wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before............it really really really was.........dinosaur BB...........
I can relate to all of this, lock stock and barrel. Except our h.s. coach made us run suicides at the start of practice. We didn't have to run laps later on. I remember once when the (wooden) backboards had been freshly painted, only my teammate and I didn't know it; the coach raised holy hell when he found us shooting around on our own.

Yeah, another reason I called this a 'thing' in my original post is that Jason brought the topic up to my nephew, not the other way around. Meaning I or my nephew did not lead the witness on this. It's definitely in some player's heads.
I think a lot of athletes tend to be superstitious but gaining a bunch of weight, muscle, or strength(or losing it) will obviously adjust your shot.

It's a massive change in your body mechanics. However, these body changes also take time and basketball players are likely shooting daily so it's going to be a very gradual change and it shouldn't really impact your shot negatively(unless you're gaining weight to point its impacting your mobility/flexibility).

Seems we’ve had at least one fairly recent recruit who was capable of outplaying his ranking, … but he didn’t get much playing time.

30 Karens agree: “Ben was bad”

But his advanced stats are eerily similar to a guy who everyone loves universally that started all 38 games on an Elite 8 team and who now our upcoming season is lost without him

It is 100% irrational to think that you can settle on a rotation less than 3 weeks into a season. The hope is that it's settled by the time of conference play. The first 10 games are about mix, match and cohesiveness. With the guys coming from overseas, add familiarity and comfortability with being in a completely different country to the laundry list of things to get ironed out.

So freaking Awesome to have both Ivisic brothers on our team. I hope process gets finished quickly and he can get to work. He sounds like he's ready to eat nails. 😆

Was surprised they are reviewing eligibility, he just went through a long process at Kentucky and played at Arkansas. Hopefully just standard stuff and he will join team officially soon

What’s the scoop on Z’s eligibility? He’s already been playing in the NCAA and should have no issue transferring like everyone else right?

Maybe I missed an update on this somewhere?
He's just going through admissions with the university still I think. Nothing big like waiting on a NCAA ruling on anything. Werner mentioned it on a recent podcast and said it should be finished up soon.
