God wore Orange and Blue that night. I saw it live. I rewatched it. I still can't believe or understand how it happened. This is nothing orginal, but thee is no way Illiinois should have been able to come back from that many points in that small amount of time
Woud love to be able to hear from other diehards how it happened

Can you let me know who is giving you this advice? Because I want to make sure I never work with that individual or firm. They're only HIPAA-covered if they're employed by HIPAA entities. Trainers employed by the school can share any info they gain by treating you with the coach.
The gray area would be the info they can provide that they receive from outside entities, like a surgeon, however every NCAA school would have a waiver of some kind an athlete would sign to participate that would enable the sharing of medical info.

Thank you for supporting my point. I had the same environment before retiring. Can you let me know who is giving you this advice? Because I want to make sure I never work with that individual or firm.
I oversee finance and HR for my company, and I can assure you that our attorneys have made it very clear that we follow HIPAA guidelines unless we are ready to deal with a pretty substantial lawsuit.
Show me the money…..NIL budget just got a bit larger for next year.
Just plop that in the SP500 and take the dividends every year for recruiting.NIL budget just got a bit larger for next year.
I don't want to ask what business space you work for if that's too revealing, but just being a private company means you probably don't have your workers sign waivers that give up their right to privacy with regards to health information. Can you let me know who is giving you this advice? Because I want to make sure I never work with that individual or firm.

May be released is the important part. The coaches have no reason to give a timeline and then have fans and media mad when that timeline doesn't happenHere is an example waiver from University of Georgia-
"This protected health information may be released to other health care providers, parents/guardians, hospitals and/or medical clinics and laboratories, athletic coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, medical insurance coordinators, insurance carriers, medical supply vendors and/or service companies, academic counselors, athletic and/or university administrators, chaplains and/or clergy members, NCAA Injury Surveillance System, sports information staff and members of the media."
Of course, which goes all the way back to one of my original points of why the article was badly written, Underwood has a history of concealing injury news so him not saying anything is not indicative of the seriousness of Andrej's injury. This whole conversation stemmed from others believing HIPAA keeps him from giving us injury news, when it's his personal decision.May be released is the important part. WoohooNIL budget just got a bit larger for next year.
Amen. And whether HIPAA related or not, Brad and the program have chosen not to get specific about injuries and timelines. I get fans want info and I don’t know much about HIPAA, but I’m pretty certain it doesn’t say sports entities are required to release details on injuries and timelines for return of its players. We’re not entitled to the information.HIPAA debate??
You guys know the football team is Top 10 now right?
