The freshman have really impressed.

coming in early June helps a ton. gives the kids time to acclimate, with a lot less pressure than when things get real (Brad on the floor, lol)

one more thing: we have Butch flippin' Lee's kid!!! some young whippersnappers have no clue how damn good he was. a taller version of Feliz? sign me up for that, all day, every day (cue the Say Anything GIF)

Here’s what I’ll also say—and @Indy Illini Fan or @LvilleILL can correct me if I’m wrong—but I’ve been told by my source that Tyler and Hammer are the ones essentially running the program right now. Personally, I’m not thrilled about that, but that’s what I was told.

I was also told that Hammer said Keaton is a one-and-done player and could be one of, if not the best, players. Now, I don’t necessarily believe that—not because I doubt my source, but because I don’t trust Hammer’s ability to evaluate talent. He’s out here offering a bunch of 3-star guys, when, with our NIL support and program prestige, we should be targeting 4- and 5-star players.

Just wanted to share this again for anyone questioning my scores—just to clarify and set the record straight.

Just curious. Why would Bama have the most bandwagon fans in the U.S.? Because they won 6 national championships in football over 12 years? I thought most people actually tend to dislike the teams that win.
Yes, that and they've been a 1 seed in basketball a lot recently. There are quite a few Bama fans in this area of Indiana...
I just Roll Eyes :ROFLMAO:

This is a very funny copypasta.

This is not in response to the content of the post but rather as an FYI to those on the board unaware - the long dashes (—) in this post and in many others you'll see are called an "em dash." It only really happens from ChatGPT and other LLMs.

If you want your posts to look like you wrote them, remove your "em dashes" after you've pasted the content from whatever LLM you're using, otherwise you look like a school student cheating on a book report.

I'm kinda shocked about the stat of 3.8 RPG. I would have guessed about 1. I agree about Mirk, I think some will be surprised by his game
I ran the numbers for last season and, projected, for this season, for total rebounds per game. Yeah, it's frightening to see how many of our top rebounders are gone (Morez Johnson (2nd), Kasparas Jakucionis (3rd), Tre White (4th), Will Riley (6th)). Our total rebounds per game (42.6 last season) is almost guaranteed to go down. It's only a matter of "by how much". I can get to 38.0 rebounds per game (a drop of about 13%), but that calls for 19 minutes per game for David Mirkovic, who appears to be our 2nd best rebounder behind Tomi Ivisic.

I also needed Tomi on the court 29 minutes a game, which is a LOT for a big guy (2.1 MPG more than last season). I assumed Zvonimir plays largely as Tomislav's sub at #5. It looks like Kylan Boswell will go from our 5th leading rebounder last season to our 3rd leading rebounder this season. Yeah, this shows how desperately this season's team needs rebounding, so lots of David Mirkovic seems REQUIRED. Again, Mirkovic projects as our 2nd leading rebounder for 2025-26, if he is used strategically with 19+ MPG. Otherwise, we are in serious trouble on possessions, or we need significantly more steals and blocks vs last season, to make up the difference.

If Ty is healthy, he's probably our 2nd best rebounder.
