10 beers deep at the UC- did you take out a second mortgage?!?!
As has been pointed out, there are plenty of decent bars and restaurants not far from the UC. No reason to go eat there or have more than a couple drinks there.

Random thought here. Been thinking about this for quite some time.
If my CEO tells me that I need to hire hire a researcher, a statistician, an odds maker, an analyst, and an advisor, while providing no guard rails or additional information, just that I need to hire someone to do random deep dives for anything related to our business….
How do I tell him that I have the perfect, no miss, sure fire candidate and his name is Fighter of the Nightman sourced through the Illinois Loyalty message board?

Fighter, your last sentence says it all.
"...to have the guts..."
Im hoping the team is growing in the knowledge of how to win. Ugly, pretty, and everything in between.
Unfortunately, try as we might, many of us never get to FOTN’s last sentence. 😉

Abridged versions/summaries, especially for those of us who may be advanced in years, would be appreciated 😊

By far the most expensive I've ever seen- almost $20 per beer.
Draft or Can? Either way, that's ridiculous! Pregaming is the only option...or is it?

Haha, here:

Shooting better is obviously needed, but we need to have something up our sleeve to grind out a W when it seems like there’s a lid on the rim … or we’ll enter every single round of March Madness flirting with going home.

Keaton Wagler was #37 in Sam Vecenie's latest mock draft (released Thursday).

Very possibly could be playing himself into the first round range after yesterday's performance....

Also of note

"A significant number of freshmen could reasonably appear here based on their early-season play. However, I’m conservative where I can be on players if feedback from scouts is mixed. My favorite freshmen thus far whom I don’t have listed: Michigan’s Trey McKenney, Auburn’s Sebastian Williams-Adams, Illinois’ David Mirkovic, Kentucky’s Malachi Moreno, Penn State’s Kayden Mingo, Duke’s Nik Khamenia, Gonzaga’s Mario Saint-Supery and Stanford’s Ebuka Okorie."

Weekly reminder that NET rankings are volatile and limited use until basically January.
Wouldn’t be surprised if our TTU win is Quad 1 again tomorrow after them destroying a bad LSU team at a neutral site. Like you said, a lot will change based on results for the rest of this month, and one game will start to have less of an impact once we start the main part of conference play.
