Would have rather had those 2 teams. We are already playing uconn and right now they are the standard. It's good to play the top teams in a year you have serious championship aspirations, but Kentucky and Kansas will still be talented and we are the legit better team. Really want to kick them while they are down and we are moving up. Dukes likely the better pick for sharpening the team for the tournament. With young guys on the team expected to be major tournament players, there is a risk if they trounce us again they shatter the confidence of the young guys since its such an early on season game.
I really want to play Kansas and Kentucky now, which is potentially why they won't play us.

At some point, the losses starting to accumulate could be a thing. FLA this year was always a 1seed caliber team, but had three losses to Duke, AZ, UConn which led to people writing them off.
Losing more than two of these games would kill a lot of the top 5 preseason excitement.
