That's definitely true, but it is also fair to say they've avoided those a lot in the past. When I am less busy with work, I will definitely be looking up their non-conference true road games since 2000 and comparing it to ours. ;)

Dan, if I may ask for a vote that we pin this as the very first post, on every post game thread, in a game we lost, that would be great. It might cut the post count down by 300, but throwing ice on the hot takes before they start would be a good thing. :)

I mean, go right ahead. For me, I don't really care how Coach K scheduled for 20 years. Scheyer is the coach now and has a different philosophy and is competing in a different ACC.

We didn't play a true road game in the non-conference as recently as two years ago and didn't 4 years ago either.

Most high major programs schedule 0 or 1 true non-conference road game. Duke isn't some extreme outlier.

You know we're in a good spot when the biggest topic of conversations on the board are:

1)Whether one of our players will come back to school versus staying in the NBA draft and

2)How recruiting services failed because they low graded one of our guys who's now going to be a lottery pick and a guy coming into the program who is now a five star recruit.

3)Where in the top 5 we should be in 2026-2027

Still remember the recruiting thread after brad missed on rayj dennis
you had an insider saying brad would never recover from this with josh/boosters.......LOL

Had a bunch of ppl saying the team was gonna suck bc of no elite pg, brad on hot seat posts ad nauseum etc

E8, r32, f4 since that day. smh

We needed another true scoring piece to pair with TSJ, ideally a ball handler. Domask just became exactly that.
