Z was 4th in the nation in BLK rate:
But if our #6thman is relegated to #7thman, is our #8thman really good enough to become our #9thman? Most stressful offseason EVER!!!Where the #9thMan becomes the #6thMan?
I genuinely can't tell if they are trolling for engagement or simply guessing/spewing nonsense. They are frustratingly dumb. Is it a shtickIt’s amazing how completely dysfunctional the field of 68 guys are in terms of their Illinois analysis.
One guy literally said Zvonimir is not a rim protector, in addition to saying we don’t have a point guard.
Here’s a take:
There will be games where LW is the first player off the bench
Wasn't that a product of outside of him our team didn't really have many blocks? The next was Hummer/Tomas tied at .6 a game..
Humrichous was at 3.3 and Tomi was at 2.6The next was Hummer/Tomas tied at .6 a game..
I remember stating that was a team I didn't want to face in the tournament last year and I got toasted for that take. Turns out I was right, I would have rather faced Duke.

They don’t watch college basketball. The guy added he only saw Illinois for two games last year - both the Wisconsin losses. It’s amazing how completely dysfunctional the field of 68 guys are in terms of their Illinois analysis.

Did we learn nothing from what just happened last season?
Williams isn't some scrub player. He was one of the best players in Illinois, was a top 100 recruit for most of high school, and really only dropped because of non basketball stuff.
Just be glad Booth’s no longer here. He would’ve had a legitimate shot.Lincoln first off the bench for Illinois?
Historic.
There’s a four score joke here but I’m not quite caffeinated enough today.
UConn will be playing Duke on a neutral court in Vegas a week before our game. That should settle the best team debate. My guess is they start the season ranked 2 and 4.Well, wins on the road are significantly more fruitful for your tournament seeding than at home / neutral.
UConn wouldn’t be a road win. Michigan or Duke would be.
UConn isn’t a conference game. Michigan is.
UConn isn’t the best team. Duke is.
Again, taking out the social media narratives, the other two would be more beneficial victories in comparison.
Just be glad Booth’s no longer here. He would’ve had a legitimate shot.
(Too soon?)
Field of 68 bros definitely watch a ton of college hoops. It was Dauster talking about lack of PG play. They definitely like to stir the pot. I do think the ballhandling concerns are legitimate. PC was almost 300th in turnover rate last year. Was a nice balance this past year.I genuinely can't tell if they are trolling for engagement or simply guessing/spewing nonsense. How could a guy named Lincoln not play for the state school?Lincoln first off the bench for Illinois?
Historic.

This may be ringing hollow, but by us beating both, by how much may decide their rank!UConn will be playing Duke on a neutral court in Vegas a week before our game. That should settle the best team debate. My guess is they start the season ranked 2 and 4.
.6 blocks a game, not block rate, but I was also mistaken on Blk% and didn't realize it was team stat agnostic (so not like ast %). OopsHumrichous was at 3.3 and Tomi was at 2.6
Vaaks’s turnover rate was only 14.3%, so I don’t think your reasoning is accurate.Field of 68 bros definitely watch a ton of college hoops. It was Dauster talking about lack of PG play. Haven’t had a chance to watch that show yet… but I love Larry and the show looks great.Hahaha yes! I literally just watched the last episode of Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, and it's this!
It's hilarious.
Well done.
The thing about the 2025 team is we were actually good at taking care of the ball OUTSIDE OF Kasparas:Bad turnover rate is Kasparas, 25.4%.
No problem! Sometimes you gotta take a win here and there.
Vaaks and Keaton are both good.Vaaks’s turnover rate was only 14.3%, so I don’t think your reasoning is accurate.
Wagler was 12.5% which is elite for a primary handler. But Vaaks wasn’t that much worse.
Bad turnover rate is Kasparas, 25.4%.
Feel like he will bring a Trent Frazier type energy on defense and is crazy athletic. He will get a ton of playing time because his ability to defend and make winning plays.Did we learn nothing from what just happened last season?
