PRPG! is offense only. If you add PRPG! and D-PRPG, you get:
Sandfort + Hoiberg = 18.8
Boswell + Wagler = 18.7
Thornton + Mobley = 18.6
Boyd + Blackwell = 17.8
Smith + Loyer = 17.4
Probably fighting for minutes like Lincoln and Morillo behind the 7 obvious guys. But you always have to assume players will miss some time because of injuries, etc. What's the latest on Morillo's health? If he's not ready, I think Ethan could play a bit.
It's far from a bad thing, as they finished with the #9 offense on Torvik and #10 offense on KPom.
Lots of worse offenses out there than Wisconsin last year.

They also went 9-8 in Quad 1, to our 7-8.
Illinois was a more consistent team, had a better O and D, and was the better team. But Wisconsin was in good territory.

You get bounced by High Point in Round 1 - you ain't the best backcourt in the B1G in a decade. If you wanna say just pure scoring - because neither one can defend a lick, and one certainly can't pass a lick, whatever.

No one's even tainting our program here, man. Calm down.
At some point, the player ratings do have flaws, and it's about what we're seeing in front of us.
For example, Patrick Ngomba is ahead of Keaton Wagler on EvanMiya. But in reality, for the common-sense evaluation, that's just no where close to how anyone will view it.
Likewise, I just don't see how Smith + Loyer can be 5th on that list, and more-so how Sandfort + Hoiberg can be 1st.
The team rankings, I'm all for the metrics, especially since it's so ppp based. For the players, there should be a bit more pause.

Yeah, I definitely agree on defense. Sandfort and Hoiberg are getting lots of credit for being part of a good defensive unit regardless of whether it had anything to do with them.
Offense tends to be more straightforward (though missed shots are weighted differently based on team ORB%). But using offense-only stats isn't a good way to compare overall contribution of players.
