Hearing some positive things on Mirk's recovery/timeline.
I think the expectation is that he plays the first game of the season.

Now if we can just get Tomi back home I’ll feel pretty good about things.Hearing some positive things on Mirk's recovery/timeline.

PRPG! is offense only. If you add PRPG! and D-PRPG, you get:Everyone knows Torvik's player rating system is PORPAGATU (or PRPG!). Definitely not BPM.
Boyd + Blackwell = 10.7
Boswell + Wagler = 10.9
Smith + Loyer = 9.9
Sandfort + Hoiberg = 8.9
Thornton + Mobley = 11.2
Your also completely ignoring the eye test. They could both be game wreckers, who could both take over a game (we saw it pretty clearly against Illinois).
They were both All BIG. All the duos you have - only one was All BIG.
Domask and Shannon is the only legitimate argument I've heard so far. It's TWO guys who can go win you a game.
Probably fighting for minutes like Lincoln and Morillo behind the 7 obvious guys. But you always have to assume players will miss some time because of injuries, etc. What's the latest on Morillo's health? If he's not ready, I think Ethan could play a bit.realize this is just mucking around (and a hype clip), but there's a lot to like here. kid may not be a big contributor this season (we stacked), but he's a baller.
It's far from a bad thing, as they finished with the #9 offense on Torvik and #10 offense on KPom.Having PPG stand up your entire argument is weak and proves you a casual. The fact they scored so much is not a good thing. Way too much hero ball.
Well, let's see, Illinois was 12-8?They were 13-9 in Q1/2 games... absolutely putrid.
You keep going on about them being "All B1G" but neither even made 1st team, a completely laughable reference that flies in the face of your own entire argument. The best backcourt in a 10 year period had neither player make 1st team?
Rob Martin (WHO?) of High Point smoked them for 23 & 10 assists, even backup guard Chase Johnston (Again... WHO?) hit 4-6 threes. The Wisconsin bigs held High Point bigs to sub-50 percent shooting. Blackwell had 5 turnovers. You don't go 24-11 with half of those wins vs cupcakes and then lose to a 12 seed and get coined 'best B1G backcourt in the last 10 years', its an excruciatingly mind-numbing take.
I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul lol.
Someone needs to get Prairie Farms to get Mirk to do a cottage cheese commercialfull cottage cheese!!!

Lots of worse offenses out there than Wisconsin last year.
Well, let's see, Illinois was 12-8?
They also went 9-8 in Quad 1, to our 7-8.
Illinois was a more consistent team, had a better O and D, and was the better team. But Wisconsin was in good territory.

Sorry, Prairie Farms can’t compare to 100% no filler Amish Cottage Cheese. There’s some things that even Illinoisans can learn from northern Indiana folks. I did!Someone needs to get Prairie Farms to get Mirk to do a cottage cheese commercial

It gets a bit sad when you can't make a generalized statement, without being incessantly taunted and mocked.Good territory? Brad would get nailed to a wall on here if he finished 24-11 and topped it off with a loss to something named High Point.
Let’s not get this all twisted, you claimed they were the “best B1G backcourt in the last 10 years” and they might not even be the 30th best![]()
At some point, the player ratings do have flaws, and it's about what we're seeing in front of us.PRPG! is offense only. If you add PRPG! and D-PRPG, you get:
Sandfort + Hoiberg = 18.8
Boswell + Wagler = 18.7
Thornton + Mobley = 18.6
Boyd + Blackwell = 17.8
Smith + Loyer = 17.4

No one's even tainting our program here, man. Calm down.
Yeah, I definitely agree on defense. Sandfort and Hoiberg are getting lots of credit for being part of a good defensive unit regardless of whether it had anything to do with them.At some point, the player ratings do have flaws, and it's about what we're seeing in front of us.
For example, Patrick Ngomba is ahead of Keaton Wagler on EvanMiya. But in reality, for the common-sense evaluation, that's just no where close to how anyone will view it.
Likewise, I just don't see how Smith + Loyer can be 5th on that list, and more-so how Sandfort + Hoiberg can be 1st.
The team rankings, I'm all for the metrics, especially since it's so ppp based. For the players, there should be a bit more pause.
(no opinionated statement on the Blackwell / Boyd debate)
