To be clear I'm not arguing against playing UNC in Nashville, it's a great opportunity, my point was purely on where it lands on the schedule, in the middle of three very tough opponents coming to Champaign. I would have been nice to have the UNC game at the beginning or the end of the stretch so they could have had an uninterrupted homestand for three tough games. They are upping the degree of difficulty by squeezing in a UNC neutral site game on the road during that stretch vs. before or after itIt's not unncessary. We're plastered over national television playing brand new name programs. I'm sure our TV revenue figures into our program's ability to be financially competitive in these NIL times. The ability to tell recruits that they'll be showcased on national television with NBA scouts likely on hand in person is priceless.
Michigan's loss to Duke in a February non-con game likely helped them lock in for the tournament.

I wonder how long some of these ratings will hold throughout the season.
Not sure if this is comprehensive: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/good-morning-illini-nation-remember-144700980.htmlI don't know if this is the right place to put this, but does anyone have a list of ex-illini players playing at different schools this year?
Surprised to see both the twins that high. Hope they both can put it together in possibly their last seasons.
