Word of caution about that site. I bought an orange Fighting Illini hoodie from them a couple years ago. Never showed up. Customer service was no help and borderline rude. They blamed UPS but UPS insisted that they never even recieved it from the shipper. Tracking info supported UPS's side of the story. Thanks for sharing, yeah I had never heard of that site. Most of the "legit" sites showed that hoodie as being sold out.

The discussion about the Illinois in the football uniform thread has forced me to tumble around something in my brain. More so than just Illinois on the helmet, it’s the wordmark across a clip-art basketball that really makes me go full Ryan Gosling in the SNL Papyrus sketch.
I picture someone pointing out that Illinois has a football connotation since we, you know, stole it from a football team, and RG just telling them it doesn’t matter, to slap it across a basketball, and then to get him some coffee.
Considering the importance and historical significance of our basketball program, that was malpractice. Historically, our basketball program has so many better options to choose from and he willfully opted for that garbage. And then we kept it till 2014. And broadcasters like ESPN and recruits kept using it up till 2020ish, just haunting us.
Thankfully, we now have a competent AD and DIA. They understand the brand matters. It’s all an integral part of a larger whole. And there are better options than just relying on clip-art.

I just saw these posts tonight, and before I read yours, I was seeing how difficult it would be to make is say “Illini”. It looks like it needs one more vertical. One for each letter, but 2 verts for the N.
